VW transporter T4 1.9TD (stealth camper)

  

VW T4 1.9 Diesel, 2000. 243k miles, Black, 2 seater (passenger captains) MOT until June 2023.

We've had this lovely van for 5 years and mainly used her as a stealthy, cosy, weekend camper. With only two owners before us, she has been in good hands her whole life. The body work is in good condition, with a few minor dents and scuffs (see pictures) and often gets complimented on not "looking her age".

Recently passed the MOT after repairing the CV boot and brakes. Many garages / mechanics have told me that it could run for another quarter million miles!

A reliable and sturdy van, great fun to drive, with a few little quirks any owner of an older vehicle would expect e. The choke is pulled out to help start her up smoothly and drivers door is its own separate key (due to a damaged lock) After many happy memories, we will be sad to see her go, but we now ready for something bigger. We built our own bed frame/storage unit, shelf and cupboard back in 2017, as well as reflective thermal insulation, wooden floorboards, passenger's captains chair and carpeted wooden interior panels. All which are good to go, or you may wish to rip it out and start again to put your own personal touch - a really fun project to make your quirky camper feel homely.

Service history & recent work receipts include. New exhaust & back box in 07/2020. New bushing & ball to gear linkage rods in 11/2020. New calliper, brake cable, track rod in 05/2021.

New Bottom Ball Joint in 5/2022. New Brake fluid, power steering fluid, new brake pads, rear break compensator in 06/2022.
