Volkswagen VW Transporter T6 Short Wheel Base Swb Standard Low Roof Van 4 Bar Aerodynamic Aluminium Roof Rack The Transporter T5 roof bars are made from high quality 60mm x 30mm x 2mm reinforced anodised aluminium extrusion with bespoke end caps designed to aid drainage for many years of corrosion resistance. They come complete with full length side rails for added strength and style. All rails and fixing brackets are made from pre galvanized steel and black polyester powdercoated and will last a very long time. You do not need the VW roof rack mounting rails as shown here to use our bars as they simply bolt into the exsisting threaded inserts in the roof.However if your van comes with the VW fixing kit as shown here our roof bars will still fit by sliding our bracktes into the slots in the rails. As you can see we have made the stainless steel bars extra wide maximizing load area using adjustable ladder stops. As there are 4 fixing positions on the roof we decided to make this a 4 bar system. Includes Two FREE Pairs of Load End Stops. Carrying capacity is approximately 175kg over the 4 bars. Fitting time approximately 1 hour.
